My interest in marketing began at university where I studied a business management degree. It was after this that I decided and knew I would really love to specialise and pursue a career in marketing and since then I have worked for many well-known consumer brands including Dulux, Bosch and Schwarzkopf to name a few. During this time I also studied and completed my professional diploma with the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

I have over 18 years of marketing experience working for both large and small brands as well as businesses. More recently during the last few years and since having our children, I have been busy growing and marketing mine and my husband’s construction business. The Simply Construction Group has gone from strength to strength, growing from a fledgling start-up, to today becoming London’s largest domestic construction company, with expansion now into the Midlands. Working in the construction industry proved to me that marketing skills can be transferrable across many different sectors and it is wonderful to bring these skills into our client’s industries.

It was this most recent experience that has made me have the desire and passion to launch Ava Rose Marketing, a marketing consultancy in Oxfordshire, in order to help other small business owners that are in the position we were in a few years ago. To grow, prosper and get their voice heard amongst their target customers; driving and converting sales.
